We clean them where they hang. The fabric is checked first, then cleaned with controlled moisture and extraction so it lifts the soil without soaking the lining. Most are dry within a few hours.

Do you take the curtains down to clean them?

Usually not. Most curtains and drapes are cleaned on site while they hang on the rail, which saves you taking them down and rehanging them. Where a fabric needs a different approach, we tell you before we start.

How much does curtain cleaning cost?

Curtains are from $45 a drop, full length or double drops from $65 and sheers from $39. Roman blinds are from $49 and roller or vertical blinds from $29. Ten drops across the house are $389. An $89 minimum applies to any visit.

Can you remove mould from curtains?

Often, yes. Mould along the hem and lining is common on windows that get condensation. It is treated as an add on from $35 a drop, cleaned without bleaching the fabric or shrinking the drop. Deep staining on some fabrics can leave a shadow, and we say so before we start.

Will my curtains shrink?

Shrinking happens when curtains are over wet or washed too hot. Cleaning on the rail with controlled moisture avoids that. We check the fabric and lining first and choose the method to suit.
